JKBOSE announces revised assessment scheme for vocational subjects in Higher Secondary Classes 11th and 12th

The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has announced a revised scheme of assessment for vocational subjects in Higher Secondary Classes 11th and 12th. The board has issued a notification to all stakeholders and students informing them about the change.

According to the notification, the scheme of assessment in case of vocational subjects that is currently in use in Higher Secondary Part-1& Part-ll (Classes 11th & 12th) has been revised. The revised scheme of assessment will be implemented from the ensuing Annual (Regular) Examination 2022, which is scheduled to be held in November in Kashmir Division/Winter zone areas of Jammu Division/UT of Ladakh, and from Annual (Regular) 2023 in Summer Zone areas of Jammu Division.
For Higher Secondary Part-l (Class 12m), the revised scheme of assessment will be implemented from the next academic session, i.e. 2022-23 in winter zone areas and onwards.
The revised scheme of assessment is expected to bring more clarity to the assessment process and ensure that students are better prepared for the vocational subjects they are studying. Students are advised to keep themselves updated with the latest developments and changes related to their vocational
